Bundestag – the german parliament
Zinah introduces the German parliament – the Bundestag. This year (2021) the Bundestag election took place at the end of September. After 16 years, Angela Merkel no longer takes office as Chancellor and Germany elects a new government. The parties SPD, the Greens and the FDP form a coalition and Olaf Scholz becomes the new chancellor.
